Director Robert Rodriguez’s Mexico Trilogy is getting the 4K treatment this summer. Cloud isn’t necessary a Karen in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, but he does need to speak to the manager–of the Gold Saucer, that is. It’s a massive theme park, and there’s barely any information to help you. As such, here’s our guide on how to find Dio in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth. Likewise, please be reminded that this article contains minor spoilers.
To be clear, Dio, the manager of the Gold Saucer, is someone you initially meet during Chapter 8: All That Glitters. You don’t need to look for him at all, since he’s the one who approaches Cloud and the gang during that portion of the campaign. This also serves as an introduction to 3D Brawler, one of the minigames in the theme park.
Still, the objective that we’d like to focus on takes place during Chapter 12: A Golden Keystone. The goal is to find Dio in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth so you can progress the main story. There are just a couple of problems:

The original Shin Megami Tensei V was great. When I reviewed it back in 2021, I loved the challenging combat, the excellent art design, the menagerie of mythological beings, and the overall dark and oppressive atmosphere wherein humanity hangs by a thread. But there was certainly room for improvement, so I was eager to see how Atlus would handle Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance, its revised and expanded multiplatform release. So rather than repeat what was said before–much of my original review still stands–it’s more worthwhile to look at Vengeance’s most important changes and new additions. There’s a lot that’s been added and adjusted, so let’s focus on what made the biggest impact on the game overall.
Perhaps the most noteworthy is its performance. Instead of being constrained on the Switch hardware, Vengeance is now multiplatform, allowing the game to run at a much smoother 60fps. Though the Switch version was known to chug when a lot was going on in its big, open environments or in combat, this is no longer a problem. During the early days of Eternals pitching and development, Zhao fought to keep the sprawling sci-fi movie grounded and practical wherever possible. According to Marvel boss Kevin Feige, practical locations were a must for the director’s process. Whenever a player loads into Lijang Tower, they’ll see fireworks shooting up into the sky as a part of the Lunar New Year celebration. They’ll also be able to play the following modes: capture the flag, capture the flag blitz, and bounty hunter.

Life By You is a new game in development at Paradox Interactive that aims to out-Sims the Sims: It’s an open-world game that uses “real language conversations,” enables players to take direct control of in-game avatars, and will come with a suite of customization tools that will “allow for unparalleled levels of storytelling.” Development is also being headed up by Rod Humble, who prior to becoming general manager at developer Paradox Tectonic was the head of EA’s Sims label for several years.
It’s an ambitious project, and as associate editor Lauren Morton wrote earlier this month, it will provide some long-overdue competition for The Sims, which has effectively owned the “dollhouse-core simulation genre” for more than 20 years. Unfortunately, she (and the rest of us) are going to have to wait a little longer than expected before we’ll get to see whether it can deliver on that front, as the early access release planned for September has been pushed to March 5, 2024.

When Stardew Valley creator Eric Barone announced back in April that his life-consuming farm-life sim would be getting another update, he described 1.6 as “mostly changes for modders (which will make it easier & more powerful to mod)”, saying the number of new additions would be “much less than 1.5.” He’s got Haunted Chocolatier to work on, after all.
